Authors & Special Guest Visits at BCSS

We had our first author visit! Vera Brosgol, Caldecott Winner for the book Leave Me Alone. Vera also wrote the graphic novels Be Prepared and Anya's Ghost. Just days after her visit, she and the team from the Guillermo Del Torros Pinochio film won an Oscar for Best Animated Film of 2022.

Jelani Memory came and spoke at our Family Literacy Night. He is also the publisher of a Kids Book About Series and author of the book A Kids Book About Racism. 

State Senator Khanh Pham has visited Bridger CSS twice! Once, when she was State Representative to our Family Literacy Night and then as Senator Pham at our Time Capsule Opening Assembly. 

State Representative Willy Chotzen came out to our Time Capsule 2025-2050 Time Capsule Closing Assembly.

Allen Taggart from Make A Wish came out to the 2020-2025 Time Capsule Assembly & the 2025-2050 Time Capsule Assembly!!!

Dillon the Pickle came out to celebrate the end of our Portland Pickles Reading Challenge!!
