  • Warm Welcome
  • Review Attendance Improvement Strategies
    • Attendance Goal: By June 2026, the overall percentage of students with good or acceptable attendance rates will increase by 6%, from 78% to 84%. In order to reduce the disproportionate gap, the percentage of students with good or acceptable attendance for all focal groups (Black & Native students, multilingual learners, students receiving special education services, and students experiencing poverty) will increase by 6%. Include additional specific focal student subgroup metrics: Students experiencing poverty will increase attendance by 12% from 59% to 71%. Students with disabilities will increase attendance by 10% from 70% to 80%.
    • Strategy 1: If the ILT continues to strengthen Tier I integrated Climate and Culture practices (explicit and integrated TSEL, PBIS, RJ, RESJ), both schoolwide and in every learning space, with a particular focus on our district's most impacted focal students based upon our data (Native students, Black students, multilingual learners, and students receiving special education services), Then teachers and staff will increase school safety, and strengthen school climate and culture, teacher-student relationships, student engagement and sense of belonging as measured by the Successful School Survey, And overall student attendance rates will increase and the gap between overall student population and focal student attendance rates will decrease.
    • Strategy 2: If ILT engages in a school and community-wide attendance initiative, through messaging and community engagement about the impact of chronic absenteeism on student outcomes, Then school and community-wide awareness of the impact of chronic absenteeism will increase, community and school resources can be aligned, and a culture of consistent attendance will be a priority, And overall student attendance rates will increase and the gap between overall student population and focal student absenteeism rates will decrease.
